Question CS question

Those of you who use CS4 or 5.....

Do you do your entire layout in photoshop or do you use photoshop for photo and element editing/creating and put it together in InDesign?

Still haven't made the change from Elements to CS.....trying to decide what I need.

TIA,
Christine

Long story, but I ended up with cs3 and no elements, and it was a hard thing for me to make the pages-but I did-then I got pse8 and felt like a kid in a candy store and scrapped up a storm, now when I need to edit, it seems like I click on the cs3 icon-so do I need both, probably not-just that pse8 is more user friendly!

I currently have CS5 and love it! I never had elements because I knew I wanted more from the program. I actually do my photo adjustments in lightroom and then some editing in CS5. But, I do everything for my layout start to finish in CS5. I have InDesign but haven't ventured there.

I complete my entire layout in CS4. However, I am taking an InDesign class this summer, so maybe I'll learn the beauty of that and try it!

I have CS3 and I like to fix my photos first in Lightroom, then I do everything else in PS. However, WHEN I can get CS5 I think that I will be able to do it all in PS.

I love corrections in LR because everything is right there on 1 column, start and the top and just work down, or use presets.

Actually I am finding camera raw to be pretty much as good as LR (which I still use) I do all my pages in CS5, never used InDesign. Maybe I am missing out

I had CS for photo editing before I got into Digi scraping, but now I use LR for editing and CS4 for my layouts. Not even sure I've opened InDesign. I'd be interested to hear what it offers.

Thanks for everyone's input. I have my eye on CS5 (since I can get it at a student discount) and just trying to figure out what I need.
