Default Happy nsd =)

I hope everybody is doing fun scrappy stuff... I decided to dedicate today in reorganizing my every growing digi supply stash! Sounds boring but I love that sort of thing

Hoping to see a flooded gallery today!!!!

I would LOVE to be able to get some scrapping done, but DH is out of town and that leaves me with my toddler, who needs constant interaction, and DD, who has a softball smack in the middle of the day at 2:00. So if I get anything done, it will be late tonight after the kids are in bed!

I wish I could spend all day scrapping - but our wonderful busy life doesn't allow it today, but I will stop in as much as I can - my dh just ran to the dump and I just finished cleaning out the fridge - thought I could reward myself by taking a DD break. I do have a page to post - hope I can get it up at some point today. Have a wonderful day everyone!

I finished one page today and am hoping to complete a couple more! This means that I get to ignore my kids and my other half is out of town on business, but I think they can survive that!

Happy Scrapping everyone!

Jen, I must be in the organizing mode today, too. I'm dealing with old scrapbooks of the paper kind that I made when our sons were born (1969 and 1972). These scrapbooks were filled with all the cards from showers, congratulatory birth cards, baptism cards and the birthday cards through the 3rd birthday. These were giant size scrapbooks.....very hard to store on a book shelf and Yuck all that glue and old paper!

I saved out any actual photos, the birth announcements we sent, the hospital bracelets, etc. but the rest is getting tossed. I've already made new digital books with their early baby photos and I think this will be what they want to see and keep some day.

Our sons aren't the kind that are going to sift through all those cards I glued in the books. I took one last trip down memory lane reading all the cards, but, now it is going going gone and I know I won't miss it.

I'm following a plan to simplify life that I read about on Unclutterer to do something to de-clutter every single day. It feels good and now I'm done for today so I can enjoy the rest of NSB Day maybe creating something new!

I am finishing up some already started pages and creating new ones for this weekend's challenges. And trying to catch those birds in action for more bird photos. Seems to be my thing right now.
Hope everyone is having a happy NSD wherever you are and whatever you are doing.

My new asparagus and raspberries came in the mail, so I am spending the day playing in the mud. I tried to tell my DH that today was National Scrapbooking Day, and he seemed to think I was making it up.

The DD all day quarterly chats are my real scrapbooking holidays

I wish I could spend the day scrapping. It is so rainy and yucky here but the kids had a big fun fair at their school. Hoping to at least get one page I have planned in my head out onto my digital canvas. We'll see! Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Wishing I was scrapping too. DH is re-roofing in 93 degree heat. Not a good plan :/ so, I am the water girl/lunch girl/entertain mother-in-law girl.

Would much rather be scrapping.
