I wish I was faster at it; I'd say a couple of hours on the average.

i'd say about 45- an hour...sometimes faster, sometimes slower

I usually average about an hour. I like to finish it in one sitting but sometimes my brain needs a break
I never have more than one unfinished layout in my folder at a time... that really throws me off. But, now with my new super computer I don't have to wait for things as long as I did before. I'll have to time myself now

I am a very slow scrapper. Part of that is because my youngest is still home with me and only 2 years old so she still needs mommy quite a bit. I also tend to analyze things way to much on my pages so I am forever changing them up. If something is not clicking for me I usually take a break and when I come back to it I have a fresh outlook on it. So it usually takes me anywhere from several hours to several days to complete one page!

It varies so much, sometimes I can pop a page out in 30 minutes-especially my 365 pages, because the time is really just deciding which photo I want to highlight. Some of the pages for my December daily, which I still need to finish took a couple of 2 hour sittings-And then I really dont know, all I know is that the time really passes quite unnoticed when I am scrapping-it can be 5pm and then all of a sudden it is 9pm!

I think, on average, a page usually takes me about 2 hours. But some are quicker and some are super-long. I find that I very often will start a page one night, get fed up and go to bed, wake up in the morning and be inspired to finish. A good night sleep is sometimes magic. Other times, a page will sit unfinished for months, but get done eventually. And rarer still, are the pages that never get done. They just sit, lost, in a folder and eventually I forget all about them.

Oh my, I don't think I ever finish a page in under 2 hours at least, rarely!!! It takes me a long time to go through my stash and decide what I want to use, but that is also the most fun part to me. I always finish a page I am working on before moving to the next one...

Lately, I've gotten a bit faster, thank goodness! When I started out doing digital layouts about 4 years ago, I took 10-12 hours on a layout. (Not all in one sitting, mind you!) Back then, I finished about one layout a week. I think it was because I didn't know my software yet. Cassie's (Cassie Jones) tutorials and classes at Get It Scrapped have helped me learn my way around PSE so I can usually finish a layout in 1-2 hours.

At least 2-3 hours per layout and quite frequently longer. I like to include a lot of extracted items and that means either scanning or photographing them and then doing the extracting. I often have several "in progress" pages at a time and go back and forth between them. I also "try out" many background papers after I get some of the elements onto the layout, as I can't seem to decide what color scheme to use until I actually bring the papers into the layout. I keep thinking I will get faster, but it's not happening. But I enjoy the process so much that the time seems to go by quickly. My husband is starting to think that I have been surgically attached to my computer.

Layouts usually take me about 2 hours, and I nearly always finish them in one sitting. Occasionally, I will come back to it if it's getting really late or I have to stop to do something else.

This is interesting to read. I would say that it takes me about 2 hours per layout. I like to finish it in one sitting. I do have a few layouts that I haven't finished that are hanging over my head but I don't like that feeling. I like to post them and then move on to the next one.

Pages take me hours to complete, and I have close to 100 unfinished pages. Some might just need a tweak to be finished, others only have background paper and photos and need embelishing and others are waiting for journaling. Most of these are from when MOJO is low and I find that I can go back a finish them at a later date. I get sidetracked with new photos and new products to scrap, but when I want to get them printed I can generally get on track and finish. When MOJO is flowing, then I can do a page in a couple of hours and finish it, depending on how intricate I'm making it and wether I started with a template or not. I could finish alot quicker if i was more decisive with my choices and didnt chop and change things all the time.
Fiona, I want to join the order of the Mojo Jedis and become a Jedi Master. That would be great!

If I have something in mind, like a theme (baseball tournament, Prom night) or just one or two pictures, it takes me the longest to pick out papers or elements but once I get that going I can get a page "done" pretty quick but I always come back later, like the next day or two and tweak it. My issue is I can tweak it and tweak it and tweak it... finally I need to say enough and move on.

About 2.5 hours is my average. I'm fortunate enough that I usually don't have to stop mid-layout. Once in a while, I can do the 1 hr (e.g tonight with Deanie's Scraplift), or with enough adrenaline to nearly kill me, the 30min Challenges. I have to say I don't enjoy that rush though.

I'd have to say about 2 hours or a little more. Lately, I find a photo and think it over in my head while I do other things. Then I work on it and when I get to a place where I am not sure what to do next, I just think about it again while I do other things. That way I don't just sit and stare at the computer.

Well, apparently I'm on the far left of the bell curve.
It takes me 6+ hours (unless it is a 30MM) and it leans more towards the + than the 6. I work on a page until I put something on that makes me smile and say, "it's done." I don't know how, but I just know when it's done and I hate settling for less. (kind of sad, I know, but I've learned to live with me) lol

i like to to finish in one sitting too - if i have an idea in mind already and know what photo i want to use, about an hour. otherwise, i fight and struggle with it and end up abandoning it. sometimes i have good intentions to go back to it with a fresh perspective, but if i leave it i usually don't go back even if i meant to -- either i don't like it anymore or i can't pick up the train of though from where i left off. often i leave the shadowing and editing the text for the next morning.

I would probably guess about 2 to 3 hours... if it's for a challenge or something.... then i try to just get it done and posted.... Right now i'm (finally) working on my December Book... I have about 9 pages done, but with 20 more to go... (give or take) i want to make sure my whole albumn has a certain flow to it... and style that follows through the book... i'm sure i'll get around to finishing them sooner or later!! I did 5 pages over the weekend and one today!!! All i have to do is shadow and journal! But again, want to make sure i have a bulk of the book done before i know if the pages are done done...

I'm all over the board depending on the style of the layout, but I probably average 2-3 hours a layout. I like to "try on" everything, so I will pull a million things "out of the closet" and put together different combinations and move things around and take things off and put things back on and trash that idea and go a different direction... and then do it all over again
until it just feels right.

Well, I've had to be quicker than that for my 120 page travel album!!! But by the time I scan and extract tickets, etc I'm still probably spending an hour per page. If I do a more artsy, scrappy page I can spend up to four hours on it. I often do double page spreads and they don't take much longer than a single page but are harder to plan. Like Janet, if I've had an idea in my head and been mulling it over it often comes together very quickly!

I'm new to the world of digi-scrapping but it took me a solid 6 hour to choose the photos I wanted to use, decide on a template and color scheme. After that, it took me about 30 minutes to an hour to actually put the basic layouts together. I can definitely see it taking me upwards of 3 hours to create something more dynamic and detailed! I'm looking forward to the challenge, though!

I'm a slow scrapper so spend hours on a page. Having a less creative mind i'm always behind on mojo and struggles my way. However I'm learning with the help of Cassie's tutorials and Pattie's classes to find my way into this art. Hope one day i'll whip up a page in less than an hour!
