A Week In The Life

I want to say Thank You to Ali for her Week In The Life project. I have to say, I thought it would be so boring without kiddos to document, but I had a BLAST with this project. It was so much fun and it gave me things to think about for future projects, too. Thank you, Ali.

Me too! Me too!! It was a great focus and shifted my sense of what we are doing again! Not finished yet but will and intend a book with pages of journaling, too. It is filed in my system under My Story and I like heading in that direction. Thanks, Ali and thanks Kelly for the thread!!

Yes, thanks to Ali for being the inspirational leader of this great movement to document a week in our lives, to Kelly for starting the thread, and to Maureen for giving me a kick in the boot to get me started. It was great fun.

Kelly, I don't think I COULD have managed it if I had children at home...children of any age. Kudos to those of you who do! with Ali at the top of the list. I hope to get the weekend days done tomorrow, and put the project 'to bed' i.e. printed.

YES!! I actually did it (for 6 days, but I had to let myself off the hook on Sunday) But I usually give up at day 2

It's been such fun seeing all the pages... I'm with Linda... I plan on going this route soon... should have been this week... plumber... new car shop... garden... snow... could have ton's of photos... I'll wait for a "boring" week. Thanks all for your inspiration!

Thanks Ali for the inspiration. I just posted my last one! It feels good. I first did a week in October 2008, then a weekend in May 2009 and now this past week. I find myself this week looking at the little moments more clearly.

The last one is up and I have to say sometimes I can really make a mess of the documentation when I'm 'done'. I think I have it all correct now. I may not use my camera again for a week! I really did enjoy the project though despite this whining. Really I did.

I just posted samples of my completed pages on my blog. Mine was a hybrid project patterned after Ali's 2008 album. I had a great time with this project on so many levels!
