After some playing with templates, I realized that my pics are just too varied to squeeze into template format. So I settled on an 8x8 size, for at least a pic a week (P52). And if I have more than one for that week, than so be it. I love KPertiet's Jewelry tags Jewelry Tag Alphabet b/c you can stick them in anywhere... but my real "go to" in a pinch is AEdwards Days + Months Title + Journal Photo Overlays. That way, if the picture says it all, or I want to play with it more when inspired, I can just blam one of those suckers on top.

I am doing a calendar page with my potds and a companion journaling page where I summarize the month and these will serve as dividers for my every day pages that include challenges or whatever. For my calendar and journaling pages I try to pick a kit or papers that coordinate with that month like Katie's Snow Kit for January and her Letter Box Love kit for February.

Maybe a nice small alphabet (or picking out a font) to label your photos. I went with

I love this idea! I have the calendar pages already, but a DD "kit of the month" is a fun idea to work with.

To "go the distance" choosing a template is a MUST! Last year I used Ali Edwards Layered Template No. 15 - Digital Scrapbooking Templates because I loved the versatility of the squares
