Question From digital to paper - printing question

I was wondering if anyone has had digital papers printed for using in traditional scrapbooks through a printing company (or Staples or whatever). Like a laser print or whatever (not an inkjet at home - something where the color doesn't bleed when wet).
I'm wondering what the cost is, and if it's feasible. I couldn't really find helpful info online.
Thanks.

Well, I bought a HP Color Laser for work flyers and I've started using it for scrapbooking more. The inkjets are definitely more photo like, but the laser print is nice and bright like you would expect from a laser print. My printer was 200 and the cartridges are 40-60 a piece and there are four of them to replace, now that I am just scrapping with the printer, i don't go through the toner cartridges that fast so i can't give you an estimated cost per page but the instant gratification is priceless!

Thank you for sharing. I'm not in the market to buy a new printer (and can't afford it besides). When I have a chance to go to Staples, I'll ask if they can do and how much per sheet but was hoping maybe someone had done it and could give me an idea.

BTW - I'm not looking for prints with photos. Just to print patterned background papers for my scrapbooks. Thanks.

So far, I have had all my individual pages printed by a company called Scrapbooks to Share. They have done a marvelous job, everytime. And they are fast! They offer an almost free sample package of one of your pages, printed on three different papers, so you can see what paper you prefer before ordering more. (They charge just for shipping, 5 bucks or thereabouts.)

I think the address is Scrapbooks to Share - Scrapbook Duplicating, Digital Scrapbook Printing, Greeting Cards, and More . . .

Ah, now I get it! Well, you could print from all those places---scrapbooks to share, scrappingsimply, scrapbooksplease. When I ordered my 12X12 linen print from scrapbooksplease, they had their 12X12 for 99 cents. It would be pricey patterned paper at $1 a sheet, but you can have them do it that way. I don't think you'd get it cheaper at a place like Kinko's or Staples, I think they probably charge a lot more for the oversized print.

Thank you. I was thinking of making it standard size paper 8 1/2 x 11) so it'd be cheaper. I could use cardstock for my background since I do scrap 12 x 12, and the paper as a layered background element. (You know, like when people use different papers and patterns on a LO.)
