Default Review of my Epiphanie Bag

It's GREAT. I used it on an outing with a 6-year-old. Carried my camera with 50mm lens on it, all my pocket stuff, and her purse and stuffed dalmation. The scrap was great, everything is accessible and clearly visible. I'm a satisfied customer. (I got the Belle.)

I have heard that they are great! Glad you like it! I am thinking about the bag... and all the stuff you can put inside! Sounds like a lot!

Are they heavier than a canvas bag? They look heavy to my eye in the photos that I have seen of them.

I have the ginger (copied Katie) and I just love it! It's the perfect size and no heavier than a regular purse (I have the large JillE and it's a lot heavier and way too big for a regular outing, although it's a gorgeous bag)
this one fits my camera with the 24-70mm attached (they are quite sizable together) and there is lots of space for additional lenses or whatever, plus room for my wallet and other things (I have a large wallet, not that it's full...) It's easy to carry, has a long adjustable shoulder strap, lots of little outside pockets and just looks plain cool!!! I love it, thanks for the recommendation!!!
Oh yes, one thing. When I first received my bag I almost fell over thinking they sent me some cheap something I didn't order until I realized they had the bag inside a little fabric bag LOL. An extra little something that was nice...

I've been eyeing these and have been wondering how the camera with 24-70 mm attached would fit .... just the info I needed! I have a crumpler bag (which I do love), but have been thinking I'd pass that on to my daughter and get one of these as they are so very nice looking. Does anyone know how the 70-200mm 2.8 lens would fit in this as well? I use it for soccer and swimming, but usually take it separate from my camera. It is 9" tall.

Ohh....I would also like to know if anyone has put a 70-200 lens inside (also 9 inches). The bag dimensions say 14x8x the last measurement being 8, 10 and 12. I am hoping that last measurement is depth/height, but it doesn't say anywhere.

Kathie, all the compartments are adjustable, so you will be able to put anything in here!!!

Yes, but what about the height?? That is what concerns me. Inside space is cool, I can see the compartments, but will the longer lenses fit upright or only laying down? Do those of you who have them lay your lenses down?? Or stand them up?? I want one...but want to know if the height dimensions matter at all, or will I chose just on color. (That could be dangerous in and of itself!) LOL

I keep all my lenses vertical.
taking my ruler to my ginger, it's about 10" high, 13" long zipper and the flat base measures 7 x 13"
HTH!

I love the story of this company, and had just recently read it somewhere. While I don't intend to be in the serious camera business in this lifetime, I enjoyed hearing how they created what they needed. As they said in the aforementioned story, they asked everyone what they used to protect their cameras and lenses and the funniest (but I bet useful) one was Maxi-Pads.

I liked that story so much because a friend of mine broke her collar bone in college (way back in the 60s) and to keep her arms in the correct position, the doctor had her stuff sanitary napkins in the fabric of her arm slings. Yes, yes...on occasion one would slip out much to her embarrassment.

ok...back to the main subject.
