Default 10+ files saved in PSE-Does this slow it down?

I liked seeing the video of having up to 30 files in the recent files. "How to open up to 30 recently edited files in Photoshop and Elements."

For those of you who switched to 20 or 30 from the original 10 on PSE, did you notice a slowdown at all?

Nope. I didn't notice anything except that I have 20 more choices to open!. I really have already liked that little modification and would have never figured to try that on my own. I often open so many papers/embellishments/frames, etc that my 10 most recent projects never included any psd files! This little tip definitely makes a difference.

Great! I'm not sure I need 30 because I do have extended time to start and finish things usually but it's good to have that option.

Hi Maureen, I thought it was just me, I feel that it's running slower with 30 files but it's nice having that many to select quickly. Hmmmmm maybe a compromise of 20 would be better. In the past I've noticed that appending too many brushes (rather than replacing them) has slowed things up too.

I must confess I hadn't noticed a slow down in PSE. I shall have to pay more attention!
