Lightroom HELP please...

I just downloaded the beta version to try out. How do I make it stop opening up every time I click on a photo to open? I don't remember telling it to be the default program but now every time I click on any photos it opens in LR instead of Windows Gallery Window.

This is not a Lightroom issue, but a Windows install issue. Assuming you are on Windows when you installed Lightroom you associated file extensions with the program like JPG for example. To fix this:

1) Start -> Settings -> Control Panel
2) Double Click on the icon for Folder Options
3) Click on the File Types tab
4) Scroll down to JPG
5) You will see Lightroom associated with this file type. Click on the Change button. You will be asked to search the web or Select a program from the list (do this). It will open a listing of programs that it knows about and select whatever JPG viewer you wish to use.

Randy I don't have a File Types tab in the Folder Options. I only have general, view, search. I'm running Vista does that make a difference?

No sure on vista. I have xp but I'm sure it is in there somewhere.

Finally figured it out Thanks for the assistance Randy! On Vista it is in Control Panel>Default Programs.
