Default What you can't do with digital....

Ok, I just can't help myself, I have to point this out...

There's a definite advantage to working with paper and this is having the additional supplies you might not otherwise have. They come in handy around the house. Like when the rubber came off the plastic wheel on my vacuum cleaner. It wouldn't stay on. So I grabbed my glue lines, which are reallllly sticky, and fixed the wheel!
I've also used a CM tape runner to hold up some molding around the bathroom mirror while the glue dried as it wasn't possible to nail it on. (Actually, I tried in one spot and ended up hitting the mirror and now there's crack showing up in the corner where I broke it. )

You are so right there! The glue and tape things come especially in handy with so many non scrapping projects. My dh is still amazed that they make some of the tapes that we used for paper scrapping.
Since I still prefer making paper cards over digital ones, I'll probably always have a lot of scrapping goodies on hand but I see how those who never paper scrapped are probably missing out!

I was about to say, of course there's no hazards with digital like cutting your fingers. But you could drop a laptop on your toe or get electrocuted. LOL

Yeah, I have this habit of saving stuff that I think could be useful. Which I think is just about everything. LOL I try not to, but it's almost painful. I'm just a hair away from being relatively normal (in that sense LOL) to being one of those hoarder people like on t.v. Mydh has resorted to busting up boxes that he gets something in if he thinks I might want to keep it. That man has ruined some good boxes! LOL! And then there's times I think I can part with stuff and say I better not - dd is still in school and might need it some day for a project. *sigh*

I know! It's great! My mother is the postman where I live, so she has full control over my mailbox, and she always used to comment it if I was buying too much scrapbooking stuff.

Ok, anyone can shop in their jammies! LOL (and some do in public )

Now as far as getting delivery boxes.... that's a plus! The thrill of happy mail. LOL (Though I rarely order stuff online.) Just like I'd much prefer a card/letter in the mail than by email. I've been trying to use my Osmiroid calligraphy pen when I do get around to writing but I need a smaller writing tip. *sigh*

I venture to say that I have more digital supplies in two years than I accrued in nine years of paper scrapbooking--and believe me, that's saying something!

Yes, me too! But the digital ones only take a small space on our desktop compared to a whole room for the paper stuff.

Hey, I do not have a whole room. As a matter of fact, I could only wish I had a room of my own. LOL

However, I've seen pics of scraprooms that look like stores.

ah but what you cant do with paper is switch its colour to match your photo. then switch it back to match something else. or re-use it.
or be as creative as you can possible be, no longer limited by running out of alphas, or your favourite papers.. Digital, my friend, is the ONLY way to go.
which is why we're on a digi board

Ah, but my children left home and left me two nice empty spaces to fill, and it didn't take me long to do just that.

No convert being made here.

Every house has some sort of glue and there is always a man just dying to do such fiddly fix jobs round here. Quite frankly, I like buying on line and knowing I'm never ever going to run out of anything! except perhaps memory... Fortunately, my dh thinks things like ehds and storage in the cloud as basic necessities.
