PSE Question/Problem

I have PSE 7.0 on a PC. Recently the photo catalog in the organizer has become slow, freezes, and then wants to close. The digi catalog is working fine. So assume problem is on photo catalog side.

Recently had Windows 7 put on computer. Recently did the file/write info to both digi and photo catalogs. I have now read this can slow things down. Can I undo it?? Recently did a full back up of tags to both catalogs. What I read to troubleshoot is greek to me!! Have read it could be related to anti virus software which too was recently changed, but since only one catalog effected maybe related to corrupt file. I have deleted all I can think to delete of recent pictures. If it is a corrupt file, how do I locate it? I had recently done a lot of scanning. Does anything here strike you to give me a direction???

Sorry Donna, I don't have any of your 3..PC, PSE7 or Winddows 7. I have caught the odd bit on line about Win7 causing some Adobe issues. I can only suggest trying to google the issue ...say .."PE7 photo catalog and Windows7". I know that's not much help but maybe today some of the PC people will chime in.

It is soo frustrating when our updates seem to slow us down, isn't it!

Well I have a PC and pse7 but I don't have windows 7. I haven't had that problem so can't really offer any advice but hopefully someone will chime in and help you. I know it is frustrating when your programs don't work right.
