This weekend's chat event produced some seriously cool pages, and it was hard to pick a favorite. There were tons from my own 30MM chat, and I just couldn't pick one of those! I did find this page from the 1PM chat, though, and I just love its softness. I also love how Crystal used the negative sleeves. Beautiful, beautiful page!

As usual, the faves are many and awesome, but if I'm going to pick just one, I think this one by Ang is just striking. I love the photo in black and white, and her take on the challenge.

Two favourites made their way into my folder last week.

Friendship Interrupted by Jazzmatazz. The imagery that has been created with the friendship flittering off with the birds. My goodness, this is truly art.

I have two favorites, and they were both part of our new challenges here at DD. The first is by casbury for the PageKraft Write True and Click challenge and is called Heart and Soulful Nester. Beautiful artistic flair and the journaling rocks:


Next is Kathie's Makes Me Smile for the All About Me Challenge. I love the fabulous grid of photos and her journaling:

This page by dugarner was so stunning with this collection of amazing black and white photos. I would love to frame this page and it hang it on a wall. Beautiful!

I love this page by Angie. It is just awesome and I am going to have to lift it someday, for sure! The colors are so rich and the elements are so much fun. As soon as I saw it, I fell in love! And her dd is just so beautiful!

I always love this thread. I have two that I want to share. The first one is Thankful by Carollee. I really like how she put this together with the heart shaped frames and enjoyed reading the journaling.


And, I loved BrittanyLane's AAM#3 Make Me Smile. This page is so lovely in its simplicity even though she used a lot of supplies, and I enjoyed reading this, too.

I think I could put every one of Shirley's (squeak) pages in my favorites folder. I love her creativity and sense of humor. I'm sure we could all do a page about the phrases we use over and over again, but hers is just so stinking original. And how cool is it that she made it look like a DD preview. She rocks!

Several los I loved this week. Someone already listed Julie's AAM#1 lo and Laura's Green Love January. But I was shocked no one had yet mentioned this layout. Quiet Moments by ShhBabyMine (by the time I figure out this posting thing, someone will probably already pick it as their favorite. . .). Such a beautiful photo. I love the soft colors and simplicity of this layout.

I was drawn to Maria's (ExoGonia) page My Childhood from the AAM Challenge for two reasons: The delightfully fun colors and her very interesting journaling offering us a glimpse into a loving family full of rich tradition. Isn't DD great for being able to share our stories around the world?!
