Default My best Quarterly Sale advice :)

Ok, I just want to share my best quarterly sale advice: If you have something in your wishlist, buy now or delete from wishlist.

I can't tell you how many times I've thought "No, I can't buy that much, I'll just pick a few items for the quarterly sale" and gone away and bought it full price just a week or two later It has probably happened to me every single QS. Well, ain't happening this time!

I'm curious as to the average amount spent during the quarterly sale... if i do the wish list to shopping cart thing, it's around $60. And everytime i look at the favorites thread, another $6 gets added...

Is that normal?

I'm a little ashamed to admit that I used quite a bit more than that... I'd better get a lot of layouts done until the next sale begins to justify the amount spent. But actually, I sometimes open ACDSee and just look through all my stuff. It's like a kid in a toy store. Or something... Or a kid that got to bring all his favorite things back home! So normal is not necessarily normal, I'd say.

I'm trying to justify this not being a big shopper of anything else. Not shoes, not clothes... So I'm sitting here in my old rags, my feet bare, scrapping happily away.

LOL!! My husband loves to shop and I don't. EXCEPT when it came time for the quarterly sale here! So ya, I totally justified it. Cause you just can't beat 30% off of EVERYTHING. And now the sale has been extended... more time to get in trouble... er, enjoy it!

I asked my hubby what to do....
Buy everything on my wish list cuz it's on sale now and I will want it next week OR, be frugal and only buy what I know will get used in the next month. To my surprise, he said buy my entire wishlist (as long as he didn't have to pay for any of it)....
Sooooo....... he gets the groceries this week, right? After all, I bought my wishlist just like he said....

I'm just about to hit the "purchase" button for lots of things on my wishlist for this sale. My two cents: I'll take chicken soup, ramen and making do with my old sweats for a couple weeks if it means I get new digi supplies insated! Anxela, you're right - it's EXACTLY like being a kid in a candy store!

I know exactly what you are saying, it is so hard to resist when you see all these wonderful things and you know you are going to want them later... I'd rather forgo new clothes any day. You guys are so funny!

Well I finally settled on my order... but could be really tempted to go in for seconds before the night ends. If you break it up into 2 orders, you aren't spending that much, right? 2 small purchases vs 1 large one is my advice...

I just settled on the same "rule" for myself. Either I buy it in the quarterly sale or it goes off my wishlist. Therefore I end up at the end of the sale with a blank wishlist. Wonder how long it will take me to fill it up again--especially since so much great product is released here every single week!
