I hear you! Why does life keep interfering with our scrapping? I sympathize!

Too much to ask? NO!

I went thru a kitchen reno that took 14 months - it had to more than the kitchen in a small house when we took two of the kitchen walls out etc etc - and it was my computer time at work then that saved me. The house was not an oasis of calm by any means. (btw, I had a job with virtually 9 months yearly of just being 'on call'. I was blessed.)

I totally relate. But you will have a beautiful new kitchen when it is completed.

For some reason, my DH and I decided on Christmas Eve to re-do the bonus room over our garage. It is where we both have our offices and computers - and where I also had all the odds and ends of furniture and un-opened boxes from our move to Georgia 2 years ago.

So for the past month, we have repainted, recarpeted, rewired, added lights, added ceiling fans, thrown away stuff, organized, etc. Today I am waiting for a roofer to show up who is installing a skylight and then we will be done!! (After I clean up one more mess!)

My computer has been out of commission for periods of time during this process and will soon be covered up today with a drop cloth as we cut a hole in the roof.

I have tried to look at all the layouts which have been posted over the past few weeks in the gallery, but haven't had alot of time to comment or to work on layouts of my own. This should change soon.

Oh, days like these are the worst! When I feel the need to create and there's no time, I think I'm going to burst! Luckily, your time will come.

I totally understand!! Time flies too fast lately that I wish to have more time to just sit and scrap. Hope things will slow down for you soon!
