Default printer/scanner advice

Well it appears that my scanner has given up - I just can't get it to work. In talking to my DH about replacing it, we were thinking it would be nice to find something that would work for scanning and printing, and that would be easy to network with our Macs.....we've been having a hard time getting my wide format Canon printer to work well for us on the wireless network.

So I thought I would come to my tech-friendly family here at DD to see if anyone had advice about an all-in-one that would also play nice with our Macs

Thanks in advance for your help!

I use the Canon MP610 purchased at the same time I purchased my MacBook Pro last year. I love it! (Of course, it is not wide format)

I have 2 Epson printers and I ADORE them both!!!!! The Artisan 810 is a printer/copier/scanner/fax combo and it's wireless. It's my best friend.
