Default AAM sketch

Several people wondered how I did the sketch I used in my AAM page. No magic, folks -- I just played around with the picture and the filters in PSE. The one I used is the charcoal sketch. I knew I wanted the photo to sort of blend into the background, and the filter gave me the effect I wanted. Go play!

Linda, I love that page!!!! I love the artistic modes of PSE. It's a very cool effect. When I want a little more detail I turn to this tutorial:
