Default Thank you so much

I was feeling very overwhelmed about my scrapping abilities at the start of the day (see my earlier post "what do you do when.....") and you were all so encouraging, offering many suggestions but mostly making me understand that I was NOT alone in my feelings. I'm happy to say that because of everyone's nice comments and suggestions I did rethink my whole process of scrapping and stopped beating myself up over what I might be doing right or wrong. I also posted a few of my layouts in the gallery and while doing that fell back in love and more importantly, comfortable with my own style of scrapping. And lo and behold everything just starting "clicking" from there. I was able to go back and finish creating about 20 pages of my grandson's baby book tonight. All that's left is the journaling. I'm not going to worry about embellishing it too much since I realized that's not really my style anyway. Just keeping it clean and simple. What a relief to finally be back doing what I love, scrapping memories and not stressing anymore!

That's right, it's all about fun! When it stops being fun for you, just step back, take a deep breath, and figure out why. Then fix it. I have gone through this "crisis of identity" several times in the past two or three years. Just find your groove, and stick with it! Glad you're finishing the book already. What an accomplishment.

OMG, it's amazing how creative and productive a person can be when they follow their own bliss. Good for you.

I am so happy you got to this point!!

I mentioned this before - it is so important not to compare one self to everyone else or to our favorite scrappers. Get inspired yes, but do it YOUR way. Can't wait to see more of your pages - your simple style really speaks to me.
