Default Bridge Users . . .

. . Does anyone know how to clear all the keywords in Bridge? When getting to know the program I wasn't paying very much attention to my tagging habits, and now that I have purchased CS4 and grown more comfortable I don't want to see a lot of these tags. I tried uninstalling and then re-installing, but the keywords were still there. I even tried unclicking, but it's like they keep coming back.

Thanks for your help.

I'm not sure if I understand your question, but are you saying that they keep coming back to an individual file or to the options in Bridge itself?
I have found that Bridge will "pick up" the tags from any items that I have. So, if your problem is that you delete them from the options in Bridge, but then they show up again, that would be because you have items that still have the tag. I think you would need to remove the tag from all of your items and then delete it from Bridge. So, do a find/search for the tag you want to delete, select all of the items that have that tag, uncheck the tag, then delete the tag.

Maybe there is a better/more efficient way, but that's how I've done it in the past.

I tried selecting all items with a particular tag like buttons, and then de-selected buttons, but it wasn't long later that I saw it climb back to it's origional number again, and sure enough the button was checked in the list again. I'll have to try again.
