Adobe Bridge - Filter/Find

WRONG SECTION - MOVED TO CS AREA

I'm really hoping someone out there can save me! I've assigned key words to all the files in 2 subfolders containing kits, lets call these subfolders KitA and KitB. Both of these are subfolders are in a master folder called DigitalKits.

Here's the problem: I can filter the files when I have KitA or Kit B open, but when I click on DigitalKits all the keywords go away (it reads "No Keywords). Any idea why this is occurring?

On a related note, the Find feature pulls up no files whether I search in Digital Kits or in KitA or KitB. I've told Bridge to "Build and Export Cache" for both of the subfolders, but it still returns no results. Again, any ideas?
