what is up with my text?

all of a sudden all of my fonts are in uppercase and spread out. what did i do? UGH.

I am not sure about this but...try opening your character palette. I don't know where it is in pse6 but I think you can access it through the "Window" heading at the top of the page. I also have an icon at the end of the title headers that is a little square page like. That will open it also. But I have CS3.

There is a drop down menu that lets you adjust the spacing. Mine has an AV with a double headed arrow under the letters. Mine is set at 25. If I make it larger the spaces between the letters gets bigger.

Also, on down in that window there a bunch of "T"s. The third from the left is two "T"s together. If I toggle that it changes my letters to capitals.

Again, I am new at this, so I really don't know if this is your problem, but might check it out. I had just tried playing with these the other day and noticed what was happening!!!!

BTW you might want to write down what is in that window when you start so you can go back to what it was set to if that is not helping.
