Default How many projects at a time?

Being new to digi (and scrapping in general for that matter) I seem to be perpetually behind on projects I want to do.

How many things do you work on at a time? Do you finish one before you start another, or work on multiple things at once?

i've usually got a few going--right now I've got some fingerless gloves ALMOST knit, a Shutterfly album for my brother ALMOST finished, and a couple of layouts started.

I have several albums going... and I work on whatever inspires me at the moment Although, sometimes these Shutterfly offers make one motivated to actually FINISH one and get it printed!

Typically, I work on a layout until it's finished before starting a new one. But sometimes I'll be in the middle of a project and some inspiration strikes for a different one. So then I'll be working on more than one. Also, I am always trying to get my recipe cards done, so I usually have several of those going while doing a picture layout!

i have a FEW TOO many right now , but I'm a starter. Love the newness of things and playing with new ideas. Much easier to do with digi!

I have 3 Shutterfly books and one Blurb book going right now. Most of my projects are year long. In addition, I have 3 LO's at various stages that need to be completed.

I have four paper albums waiting to be finished, a pile of 27 books to be read, and three Shutterfly albums either underway or with ideas swirling! (I'm not counting the three quilting projects that have been sitting around for over a year now!)

i have several ongoing at the same time. There are photobooks and single pages. It's nice to switch between things - but some times I try to get things done and only scrap those pages.

I have to go with everyone else, and say too many!

Got 3 LOs I'm working on, as well as having a go at the Design your life class.

I think that's the nature of creativity - you go with the mojo as it flows, and always have more ideas than time!! I'm dreadful at finishing!

I think that we all must be pretty much clones of each other!

I have started:
* a flannel quilt for a granddaughter
* two digital layouts
* two Shutterfly books (in the beginning stages) & one that I started two years ago
* a nightgown each for three granddaughters and one American Girl doll
* three pair of super hero pajamas for grandsons
* a huge needlepoint project for our church sanctuary
* not to mention that I call cleaning my sewing/computer/laundry and ongoing project!
* can I call cooking supper a project??? Probably not.

I wish that I had not written these down . . . now I am depressed!

I had four Christmas pages and three other ones going all at the same time. I had all the credits nice and organized and started to post them to the gallery, then noticed a few of the credits mixed up. For some reason I've had the hardest time sorting the credits out so gave up and just posted to my blog! I think I'll try to become one-thing-at-a-time person!
I won't even list my other non-finished projects

geez--we are all alike! I have a 2008 album for my youngest son that I have not finished. I'm scrapping his senior year so that is a work in progress. Started an all about me album......and a couple more going.

Not to mention I want to go through all of Cassie's tutorials and practice photography.

Dh will tell you I'm a great starter.... it's the finishing that's the problem. I started crocheting an afghan for my sister when my dd was a year old.

She's 13 now. And they don't have one of the colors I was using anymore.

Scrapping, cards, sewing, quilts, knitting, crocheting, spinning, a variety of home improvement.... the only area I don't have more than 1 project going on simultaneously is spinning. I only have one drop spindle. LOL

Dh complains a lot about all my projects I start... I tell him it's good to have goals in life. LOL

Put it this way... I just finished an album of my sister's wedding, which was 10 years ago! And while cleaning out my scrapbook cupboard, I discovered 4 other projects I'd completely forgotten about. Oh yeah, and I just started my 2009 book.

I have my DS's 2nd and 3rd year books, my december daily book, project 365, a cooking book, and HEAPS of unfinished craft projects. And lots of others I would like to be working on. So much to do, so little time. ( or too much hanging around here looking at what everyone else is achieving!)

After reading everyone's list, I feel like such a slacker. I just finished a gift album (paper) & had all my digi pages from the last few months printed (which wasn't many). I hadn't started anything yet, as I've been packing (decluttering) for our hopeful move later this year. But as I was getting stuff to keep out in the paper scrap area, I found 4 albums that will stay for working on (ds school, dd school, 2008 vacation, & a mini ds album). Not to mention as soon as I get a chance I'll be working on my digi Christmas album and various catch up pages. All craft and sewing items will be packed away. It's very liberating.
