I make cards with my paper stash. I also use my supplies in other projects or for the grand kids when they come over. I still buy Basic Grey papers.

OOoo, Elena, great idea for a lo.

I made the transition almost overnight, still have a half-finished album for my niece. I'm giving her the components though, so she'll have some fun with them. Also, it's very hard to scrap for someone without having the story behind the photos.

No more anxiety about ruining a lovely piece of paper, or watching carefully placed and glued elements fall to the bottom of the page protector!

Nearly all the time I do digi but once ina while I have the desire to get paper out. I really love to do paper scrapbooking with my children.

My master bedroom into an art studio--it's FILLED with supplies that inspire me! I've been a paper scrapper since I was a child (now I'm 56)! Currently, most of my scrapbooking is digital and I LOVE IT! But I also do hybrid projects--cards, chipboard scrapbooks, etc. and mixed media collage--because sometimes I just need to feel and play with the textures--hands on!

Count me in as another that has given up paper...at least for layouts. I occasionally will do a card or two or a hybrid minibook, but I can not imagine going back...digi is so flexible, portable, and doesn't create a mess to clean up! Plus, there is always something new to learn....what's not to love!!
Welcome to the dark side~

I haven't scrapped in 3 years, since I found DD I still have a lot of traditional scrapbook materials. I just can't seem to give them up. It's more like a collection : ) I want to keep stuff, so I can do art projects with my Daughter, also I like making Christmas Cards.

I've been digi for 1 1/2 now & just won't go back - it is too easy, versatile & non-messy! Love it! I use my old paper supplies for cards or projects at church - someday maybe I'll use them all up - who knows?

Oh my, you are far gone aren't you? What's the point of paper? I know some still like to cut and paste, which I totally understand, but I need CMD/Ctrl Z. What would we do without that? It doesn't work for paper for sure!

I kept my paper stuff around for a while after but I gave it all to a friend last Christmas who only paper scraps & is so bad with the computer, I doubt she'll ever get to do the amazing digi scrapping. In retrospect, I wish I had kept some of it for my DD to use when she is older....but that takes up so much space...anyways > ALL DIGI FOR ME!

I read through this thread nodding my head and smiling, seeing myself in so many posts! I have a half-finished paper album of my son that I feel I must finish, and I'm almost out of cards, but I just can't bring myself to get out the mess and the glue.
I've given away a bunch of stuff to my sister and my son's girlfriend, and I guess maybe I should sell some more.
For some reason I can't let go completely, but I know I love digi too much to go back!
Is this the dilemma of the "dark side"??
