I loved doing My Book last year, Heather and I'm going to do it again. I'm making it easy on myself this year and I've already started making the layouts so that I can just add my photos. I'm starting with these for my book this time around:

Hope you'll join us this time around. :O)

I really think I need to decide on a kit and let that be it. The coming-up-with-colors-and-embellishments every day drove me nuts last year. And with 365 + my regular family scrapbook on top of December Daily, it needs to be drag-and-drop! I'm going after Katie's templates this weekend.

Sarah, I can't see your book.
I'm with you. Since I'm doing the 365 book and it doesn't end in Nov, I needed something that would be quick for me. :O)

I don't know why the link wasn't working---so I posted it in the Shutterfly Gallery.

Here it is.

I was really new to any kind of scrapping last year but was working my way thru using templates. I did print it (8x8) out at home and had fun doing it. I combined it with Shimelle's Journal Your Christmas. Here's what's up on the DD gallery 08 December Daily - Digital Scrapbooking Ideas - DesignerDigitals

All your books are inspirations ladies. I'm going to give it a go this year. Kelly I loved Michelle's kit too, but there is lots of snow related embelishments and colours, and unfortunatly they would melt in seconds here (lol ) I need a kit that will go with our VERY hot christmas weather here!

Mine should be done this weekend Heather. I took Pattie's class on Shutterfl at Get It Scrapped and it was a big help. I hope to have it shared this weekend.

Katrina also did a book.

Sam, that's why I'm convinced that the southern hemisphere should celebrate Christmas in June. There are other more pertinent reasons, but the gist of it is that it should be celebrated in the coldest part of the year, wherever you are, when the days are the shortest. If I lived down there, I'd lobby to have Christmas changed. Having it on the same day all around the world is centrist, I think. (Don't know a word for geographical snobbery!)

Kelly I remember so many of those pages in your book, it's such a stunner! I can't believe you are actually working ahead, what a great idea! I might have to do something simple too and that's such a great set of templates

Here's the link to mine! I look at this book so often and am so pleased I completed it! I tried very hard to write each evening and not fuss over the layouts. I finished the first week of January! And then I slept!

Katrina, that is a wonderful book and the simple kraft really sets off the holiday colors. Love it!

I loved going back through all of the Christmas books tonight! I remember loving Katrina's & Kelly's & Sarah's ... loved seeing Mary's & Anke's again too.

I didn't realize that I hadn't posted the few remaining pages for my book in the gallery ... I must find them and post them later. (Later meaning when I finally get my new computer up and running!) Thanks for mentioning my pages, Lynnie!

I am thinking of doing another Daily Dec. book for 2009 . . . but with an easier format . . . like Kelly said. I completely gave up on my 365 book ... I loved it but I got so far behind and don't know if I can go back and finish it! It may just be as is.

Mollie, say it isn't so!!! Your 365 book is absolutely gorgeous. You have to finish! You have a new grandbaby in there this year, don't you? Maybe you can chant to yourself, "It's a template. It's a template." and the pictures will just fall in by themselves.

Hope to see you back in the saddle for December Daily, at least!

Mollie is the queen of template pages! She makes me want to buy every template that she makes a page with! She just has a way with choosing the perfect papers to go with her wonderful photos! She also showed me how you can take a picture of the things you decorate with (and take for granted). She posted pages with her nutcrackers, her choir people and those santa canisters. . . I realized that almost EVERYTHING at Christmas has a story behind it.

Thanks ladies for all the posts. It's rekindled alot of memories and given me several ideas. I think Katie's templates pushed me into doing this. Aren't they perfect?! I like Katrina's use of the Kraft paper. It reminds me of the Kraft paper I used to wrap presents with ages ago. I'm thinking about beginning with Andrea Victoria's...
