Default OK I weakened . . .

yep - just caved and bought the alpha e-book. I'm about to sit down with a cuppa and browse - which is/are your favourite page/s??

Personally, I'm happy to hear you weakened.

The book was designed so that any one of the chapters in Embellishing with Alphas can be studied on its own and used to generate lots of pages with new touches and approaches

The concepts (in all but chapter 1) can be applied to other types of embellishments. So if you're feeling technique-y, you could try out the stuff in Chapter 3 (add charm & design interest). If you're feeling like working on design principles, chapters 5, 6, and 7 are good. If you're looking for fun ideas for putting embellishments onto the page, use chapters 4 and 8. And I think of chapter 2 as a resource for when you're selecting an alpha--for embellishments OR for titling.

I'd love to hear, though, if others using the book have favorite pages.

The whole book is completely awesome. But I think my very favorite in the whole thing is Amber's Moonrise page on pg 15. I love the softness, the cool photo and the layering. So pretty!

I bought it too and it's great! I love the history of the monogram. I think I am lazy sometimes and use fonts for titles instead of all the fun alphas I have in my stash.

The girls did a fantastic job and there are so many awesome pages and neat examples of how to use Alphas... I love it!
