SA PhotoWalk Book

Ok ladies! You may have seen this thread and by now you've probably seen the beautiful book Heather put together for me.

And, well, you may be thinking I was ignoring the thread and saying thank you. And, okay, you were right!

This has been such an emotional week for me. Positive. Happy. But emotional. On Sunday I watched my little brother complete his first Ironman. It was 11 hours and 40 minutes of raw emotion. When he finished I looked at him and saw my 5 year old brother again and felt just overwhelming emotion.

10 minutes after I arrived home from Wisconsin I opened the Shutterfly book. I was stunned. The sentiment on the cover. The pages. The design choice (oh I do dearly love kraft and simplicity and a little bit of stitching and a great big photo) but the journaling. The small bits of who you all are and how I touched your lives. I had to close the book. I had to put it away. I was floored. I couldn't even see straight to read it.

I've since picked it up multiple times and made everyone in my house look at it. When I started sharing my photography knowledge it was because of the difficulty I'd had finding someone to share with me. I wanted nothing more than to help people capture their own memories the way they wanted them, the way they saw them. A way that would invoke emotion for years and years to come. It means so much to me that I've helped you in such a small way to do just that. It's overwhelming and special and just so the way the world should be.

I'm honored to have been able to help. I'm honored by the time and effort you put into creating something so special. And I'm beyond honored to have had the opportunity to call you my friends.

I can just imagine who the race was for you emotionally. What an amazing experience.

Heather did a great job on that book and you deserve it. You are such a kind soul and a wonderful person. The fact that you share your talent so willingly, just shows you have a beautiful heart, too.
