Gosh. I use ACDSee all the time and have not have that problem. But I've not restored from the Recycle Bin either. What happens if you navigate to the folder using Windows and copy and make a copy of the file? Are you able to add your tags in ACDSee then?

OK- I just deleted a QP file. I had the author set, entered a keyword and tagged it with a category. Then after I restored the file, the author stayed, but the keyword and category were both stripped. I was able to re-tag it however.
I tried it again, using the embed metadata feature in 2009, and it did the same. It strips that info, but I am able to re-tag.... Have you tried posting over at Digiscrapinfo or acdsee? |
