Thumbs up Show Us Your Favorites!! (08/24/09)

THE FAVORITES THREAD IS FOR LAYOUTS POSTED LAST WEEK. PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE PAGES POSTED AFTER SUNDAY, AUGUST 23RD.

Please show us pages that use DesignerDigitals products and provide a link (click here to learn more) . . . so we can see the details of the page in the gallery.

This week Phylis just knocked me over with this gorgeous tribute page to her mother. I don't know how she manages to create such perfect pages every. single. time.!!

I look forward to seeing YOUR favorites!!

Oh good! I'm early enough because I know this one is in lots of favorites folders this week. It's 14 years strong by Cassie. I love it for the wonderful graphics, that incredible pink stripe, but mostly because she is so inspiring and to see her so happy with her dh becomes her!

Life is getting in the way of my own scrapping right now, but I've been through the gallery this week and put Echogirl's (Doris) "Brother" in my fav folder. I love the photo and treatment, all the layering of such beautiful papers and the stitching.

O, that page by Phylis.....such sweet artistry.

And here is another artist in our tribe whose work is so wonderful and unique. The details and the personal flair in all her pages is something to behold. But this page is a special tribute to her Grandmother, Great Aunt and herself. Kelly (Mugsbigsis) really took the tutorial to another level.

I have been bogged down with work this past week, so I haven't spent as much time in the Galleries as I would have liked. How time flies! But here's a layout I loved by Elena for her fun journaling and the overall graphic look. Great colors, too.

This page by Barb (sawdust) just popped right out of the gallery at me. The colors are glorious, and I love the king of beasts presiding over the center of the layout:

Thanks, Amy, for mentioning my page. It's fun to do something that's not about the kids every once in a while.

Patricia, Thank you! A wonderful way to start off my Monday. :O)

Well, including the one Cassie mentioned by Phylis I have 13 pages in my faves from this past week. I have trouble narrowing it down to just one when there are only 5! LOL

I'm posting Christine's (CCofOhio) page, Hermit Crab. I LOVE the layers! And the colors and title work are scrapping perfection.

Now let's see if I can figure this out on the Mac now (just when I had learned how to do it on the HP)
I loved this one by the Boss herself(Katie), her layering was so fabulous!

Thank you Elena - I am honored to be mentioned in this thread by you.

Here are two of my favorites this last week...

The new DD CT member... Elena's fanatstic take on Mel's iTune challenge. Love the little papers and all the fun details:

And Sarah is a regular in my favorites folder... her work is always lovely. I especially enjoyed the colors in this page. So sweet.

Esther, I am grinning from ear to ear! Thank you so much for making my week!

As I was typing, Aino beat me to the punch with Elena's fabulous iTunes LO. Congratulations on making the CT, Elena!!

I also loved Terri's Simply Inspired entry, "Day at the Zoo". The mix of photos, papers, and drawings is remarkable!

Another fabulous page is Cassie's latest tutorial LO! Love the simplicity and the design ... and, of course, the sweet Ellie photos!!

Thanks, Vicki ... you definitely brightened an otherwise rather frustrating Monday!!

I haven't had much of a chance to peek in the gallery this week so I don't have a favorite to share at the moment. Maybe later if I get caught up...

It's nice to be back at home and be able to catch up with all these beautiful LO's from last week. My only complaint about our cruise was that 55 cents a minute to log onto the internet-but than again, DH does deserve some undivided attention!

Wow, thank you, Tracy (jazzmatazz), for mentioning my zoo layout. It's especially gratifying to hear good things about something that I was rather unsure about (that whole, "can't see the forest for the trees" problem). That layout sat on my desktop for days as I was pulling my hair out trying to get it finished. . . I finally just said "done" and uploaded it! Thanks so much. What a wonderful compliment. : )

I loved this page by shhbabymine. I love how she incorporated the title right into the frame and extra touches with the glitter and repeating "summer" in the background.
