I recently heard about this wonderful organization that will be sending handmade cards to our military men and woman that are overseas. They are trying to get 1,000 cards donated. I will be making my cards digitally and then printing them out, there are tons of great product here at DD that will make beautiful cards. You can find all of the info you need if you google Cards for heroes scrap street. Check it out for yourself and think about making some cards for those who are overseas serving us!

Thank you so much Anna!
I am so excited to get word about this incredible cause out there! The cause is very close to my heart, as well. My husband is currently overseas and we also live on a military installation. I actually had neighbors receive cards from their soldier that were donated by CFH. It overjoys me to be a part of something that brings so much happiness to other military families! Definitely head on over and join in on all the fun over the next few weeks! ScrapStreet.com - Cards for Heroes Card Drive |

Does anyone know if postcard type cards would be accepted? I have really gotten into creating a 4x6 digital page and having them printed. Then I have a 4x6 rubber stamp I use on the back for the "for real" postcard look. I would love to donate a bunch of them. AND if so, I am assuming since we aren't selling the cards, even though this is outside the realm of personal use, it would still be ok to use DD products?
When my sil was in Iraq, I used to send him cards in his care packages that he both used and handed out. They mean so much to the men and women to stay in touch with their families. This is an awesome way to help them out. And Anna, you are to be applauded for your generous heart!
