Default looking at new laptops-need input

I am looking at getting a Dell for $499 with 4GB memory and 250Gb HD. My plan is to use PSE on this machine and also plug my EHD to it which stores all my digi goodies. Will it have the power to do what I want?!

Thanks.

Yes, 4GB is enough to run PSE with no problem at all. I think you'll be fine---the recommended RAM for PSE I think is 1 GB, my desktop at home only has 768MB. It runs slowly if I have it open all day and run the Organizer at the same time. So 4GB will let everything run pretty smoothly.
