Unhappy Photoshop disaster!

Well it's a disaster for me! I've been nursing along a 30 day trial for some time now, much longer than 30 days I didn't really want the expense of buying CS4 at the moment as our DD is just about to move to London and we are going to have some major expenses with the move! I guess I was pushing my luck, and then tonight it quit on me and is gone for ever boo hoo...
So, until I figure out what to do, there's not going to be much scrapping going on around here!

Why is it that everything seems to happen at the same time?

Fiona

You can always use the PSE 30 day trial (said from one who seriously abused the 30 day privileges!)

Oh boy, I feel for you - I couldn't live without Photoshop, it's been so much a part of my life since almost its development!

Oh dear! My Lightroom trial runs out shortly - so I know what you mean, except Lightroom is a tad cheaper than CS4! I scrap with PSE. I DO have access to CS4 on another computer, but I find it's just not worth the trouble transferring my pics and kits onto it. PSE works for me.

£500 or $822 for the academic version...normally would be reaching for my credit card...but our bank account is going to be under serious pressure this month with flatshare costs for Vic. Rent in advance, living costs etc...Oh, and there's the new car we're helping her buy.... my scrapping seems such a small thing compared to the move to London at the moment.
Still, I'm not really complaining. I'm absolutely delighted that she has got this job in marketing for a...wait for it...travel company!!! Maybe, cheap flights to...America! Wouldn't that be cool!

Fiona

p.s. Thanks Katrina and Cassie, I'm investigating Photoshop elements...trial version...of course!
