Default Virtual Crop Challenge Details

hey everyone!
since some of us couldn't attend the DD crops this weekend, I thought it would be fun to post a little challenge. Katie has generously agreed to provide a gift certificate to the random winner.

so, here are the details...please remember to have fun and use only DD products to qualify for the challenge.

the sketch is from pencillines.com - one of my favorite sketch sites
Your layout should be about what does scrapbooking/Designer Digitals mean to you?

Include the following:
single word title
a fastener (paper clip, staple or similar)
journaling

Post your layout by 8 p.m. EST Sunday
a random winner will be chosen among those who participate
please post your layout in the General Gallery and include CC in the title line (Crop Challenge)

have fun!!

Thanks, Mary. Ohh, that one's going to be a challenge for me. I have a tough time with AAM pages.

(Not sure what you mean by an AAM Kelly.) Thanks for doing this one Mary. If we get that thunderstorm tomorrow my plans are changed and I'll have time.

The sketch is just a little different from the template. Can use either one for inspiration?

About the challenge. Does one really have to follow the sketch, or if I start with it and stray to something completely different is that still okay? I'm asking because that's where my layout is heading right now!

I use sketches as a starting off point - you can use it completely, use the template (which I just now realized is a bit different) or as inspiration...the only rules are using DD products, single word title, a fastner and journaling..otherwise have fun and go with the flow!

Some great layouts already in the gallery! I'm leaving my computer open on DD so that I can pop in and out over the weekend to check on them! Thanks Mary for getting this organized.
I finished mine, though it's not much of an AAM one! Ally

Mary, Thanks for the challenge! I loved the sketch. I'm going to use it for my vacation book too because I have the perfect picture to go with it.

I just got mine uploaded. I spent too much time tweaking and am still not happy with the journaling. But, having a deadline meant I had to go with what I had.

Everyday

Thanks!
