Default Aperature (Mac) - does anyone use it?

Hey . . . I know many of you use Lightroom or iPhoto . . .does anyone use Aperature from Mac for their photos?

Also, if you LOVE one software of another for organizing . . . can you share why . . . maybe there is a benefit to one over the other that I hadn't considered.

Thanks for sharing all your expertise and experience!

My BIL is a professional photographer and uses it. He has lightroom, but hasn't fiddled around with it.

I used to use Aperture but I've switched to Lightroom because of its seamless interaction with Photoshop.
I'm very happy I made the switch!

I use and love Aperture. I tried trial versions of both Aperture and Lightroom, and Aperture just made sense to me in a way Lightroom didn't. I like how Aperture plays nice with my other Apple software and have no trouble round-tripping with Photoshop (Elements) as well.
