Default Kit advice (16yr old boy)

Hi!

Can anyone offer any suggestions for a kit and/or elements for a LO for a 16 yr old boy? I am doing a "oh how you've grown" page for each of my nieces and nephews (the two girls are easy!) but would like something a little more "grown up" for Camden. He is not a guys guy if you will.. not much into sports or rough housing.. so any suggestions would be great!!

Thanks!
Kristen

I have enjoyed Michelle's papers for my boy pages such as Ryan, Brett and Frost Proof Papers. I have layouts in my gallery with a 14 year old boy. Also check out Melanies (Britgirl) and Mary Roger's layouts, they are great sources for teenage boys.

ArtPlay Palette Mini Kit No. 02 - Digital Scrapbooking Kits

cant go wrong with Anna Aspnes grungy brushes!!

dont want to overload you. LOL. But look for any kit also that would have kind of a retro design look to the papers. Like the papers in the next kit. If you use any paper that does not have the flowers on them they would be PERFECT! Andrea Victoria has alot of that designs.

I love all the suggestions. I have boys and always struggle finding the right thing for them.

Love that you included links. Makes it so easier to click and then click "Add to WISHLIST!"

Oh, when I get the hang of this digital stuff, my bank account is gonna be hurtin'

I like
Katie's Dude kit.

It's very clean and not grungy, but with bold colors. God luck, looking forward to the postings.

Alandia Element Pack has metal flowers, several metal word tags and nice frames that would work for guy pages.

I have a boy this age and another a bit younger. My go-to papers are Lynn Grieveson's In Distress papers and Anna's Weathered Neutrals. For elements I lean on anything a little worn and messy: brushes of many kinds, tape (like this), Pattie's Staple Its, Lynn's worn strips, any of Katie's vintage frames and many other frames. Oh--and Katie's gaffer tape works well, too. I tend to journal on index cards, worn or not.

Hope this helps a bit!
