I liked the structure of this page by GoingtotheSun called "A Mother's Secret Hope." All that symmetry appeals to my senses. The sentiment is also wonderful and one that I'm sure is shared by all of us.

I was on vacation last week and missed tons in the gallery so I'm hoping that this thread will help catch me up.

THIS page (a Saturday Scraplift by Merrilee) is a new all time fave of mine. It just makes me happy looking at it.

My faves for the week:
I love the wonderful quirkiness of Laura's (aka Sabine 2598) "What's on your Mind?" layout from the iTunes Challenge. So creative!

I also loved the beautiful white space (and the photo) in Tara's (aka teeleedee) "Daddy & Daughter" layout.

I just love this page by britgirl (Mel) The extraction is just amazing the entire LO is so creative!

This page by Amy L is tops on my list from last week. I love the title and how it plays on the old song And I always enjoy her pages about her boys, anyway. This one just shines!

Kelly's (mugsbigsis) pages always blow me away, but I especially loved this one she did for the journaling challenge. I love the introspection, the way she blended earlier photos into the "now" photo, and the great shot of her:

Merr is one amazing Grandmother. Love how she documents her GS's soccer lessons..the colors and design are perfect!



and I also love Laura's Back to my roots. Perfect subject, love the pop of color and cute photo of her!



and I would be in trouble with my Croatian ancestors if I di not give a nod to Heidi's gorgeous Dubrovnik photos! Love how she includes photos of her family in the LO!

Laura's Unchartered Territory - for being wonderfully insightful, clever and nice colors. Pluss I also dig that kit!



I also enjoyed Donna's page on her son - not only is it wonderful with the blended photo, but the journaling along the side and what she has written even better - all together a wonderful, loving page that is also very classic.

wow. it's amazing what a person misses when she doesn't check the gallery for about a week. i can't believe that i missed almost ALL of these pages. thanks so much for this thread! what a talented bunch you are.

I do love seeing this thread and thank you Susie for liking my page, it means a lot.

A couple of my favourites have already been shown : "U" by katrinak and "36" by Aino.

But the other favourite I popped away this week was "G and Pa-Paw" by Jess Hunt. Such an amazingly incredible and precious photograph and superbly scrapped, the colours are perfect, the journalling, absolutely everything. Congratulations Jess for a beautiful piece of work.

It was a surprise too, to see that many members liked this photo of my DH, a photo I thought twice to put or not in my layout. Very soon I will add my explanation, only give me some time, it's difficult to write my thoughts into English.
