Talking Genealogy...

Anyone else collecting Katie's Genealogy supplies? I am shocked at the attention to detail in every page. Love them.

It has opened a whole can of worms for me. We have so much history (in the form of books written by ancestors) down some lines and then no history down others. It is a huge treasure hunt and I'm loving it. I have always wanted to update the books as they all end in the 1950s with my grandma's generation. Katie's supplies are so beautiful...they are perfect!

My middle daughter, who is 23, has recently taken a huge interest in our genealogy. I'm so excited and am hoping we can collaborate...she can take care of the research and I'll scrap the pages with whatever photos I have.
Katie's supplies will be a wonderful complement.

I haven't started buying them yet but am saving them all into my wishlist including the memory book templates. I have so much information from doing genealogy and a lot of photos and I am excited to have all of these beautiful digital genealogy supplies to work with. Right now I am scanning documents and then it will be photos for each family branch. I can't wait to start creating beautiful books that will be cohesive. Katie absolutely rocks for putting this beautiful collection together.

Me! Me! Aren't they gorgeous? You truly have to look at them close up to appreciate all the subltle details. My sweet aunt has entrusted a huge carton of heritage photos to me and I'm scanning them in ... Katie's book will make the perfect Christmas gift for said aunt and my mom.

The next Heritage Challenge, which will be posted on June 29, will provide a little help with collecting family stories to use with Katie's wonderful genealogy products. They are what inspired the challenge. Stay tuned!

I, too, am wishlisting all of the genealogy items--they are beautiful, and I'm looking forward to using them.

I have just (like the last HOUR)completed the editing and am about to publish my Mom's book on her Mother's life. It includes a lot of genealogy but is also told as a story. It is SO engaging. I am also the inheritor of my Father's huge research library of his side of the family research. WE leave on Saturday for two weeks in England and will spend one of them exploring Cornwall, his site of origin for both his mother's and his father's line.

Yes, I am collecting Katie's amazing materials!!

I agree, the brushwork and all the details on the pages are just amazing! I absolutely love the whole collection. I wish I had all the old photos from my family, but my brother is hording them in Germany and keeps promising me copies. I am still waiting! In the meantime I am looking at the collecting and loving it

Katie really is so amazing. The art work is delightful on every page. I can't wait to get started using the templates. She makes the overwhelming job of getting started on such a project so easy for us.

Have fun in England Patricia! London is one of my favorite cities in the world! It is so beautiful. You have to go to and Indian restaurant while you're there. They have the best. I never got to Cornwall. I heard it's beautiful. Can't wait to see the amazing photos you'll capture.

I sure wish I'd had Katie's beautiful new products for the heritage book I did a few years ago. I don't have many photos from my Mom's side of the family but it sure would be fun to research. I'll have to see what photo's my brother has.

I have not gotten any yet, but they are all in my wishlist. I am getting ready to scan a bunch of photos my mom recently sent, and seeing these new supplies has really made my day. Thanks Katie - they certainly are beautiful.
