Default drop shadows

Do many people use Katie's drop shadows? I've been using the drop shadows that came with photoshop elements and adjusting the opacity and height from the page. Do feel you get better/ more realistic results with Katie's shadows?

I love Katie's shadows. Love them. They have the nice soft brown to them, not the solid black, and they are the type of shadows I use most often, all right there at my fingertips.

I use Katie's shadows almost 90% of the time... I need to remember to credit them!

I have them, but I have never been able to load them since I got a Vista computer. All the directions I've seen have been for either XP or a different version of my software.
I am running Vista and PSE6, if anyone can help with this. I miss those drop shadows!!!

I use them all the time!! The only time I don't use them is if I want to lift a corner of something. There is a nice variety of glows and shadows and you can still adjust them just like the ones that come in elements. Sometimes I do forget to credit them-so Here I go for all the times I've forgotten-Katie Pertiet-
Drop Shadow styles are wonderful!

Yep, Katie's shadows are my go to. I used to always use Cassie's technique and then I picked up Katie's during a sale and now I use them most of the time. I still use Cassie's technique when I need to lift or bend etc!!!

I've been bad and haven't been giving Katie credit lately - I use her shadows all the time - especially the "small subtle drop shadow".

Oh, and I use Vista (32) and PSE 5 and have no probs with using the shadows...

You are so welcome; they were such a life saver to me, especially after I upgraded my computer and switched to Vista and PSE7.
