Default Now that you've gone digi - where do you scrap?

We just bought a new house and I'm finally going to be able to have some kind of a dedicated space just for ME!!! Before going digi, I would have made myself a "scrap space." These days, all I really need is my laptop, ehd, and printer...Do any of you have a scrap room anymore? If you do, I'd love to see pictures!!!

Well, I don't have a laptop . . . I have a desktop in an alcove in my bedroom. I call it my digi-dungeon. It's a desk, computer, printer, EHD . . . but it's my space, so I can't complain!

I'm still a paper scrapper, too, but I don't have any recent pictures for you. Dh and I share the den, so half of it is for my paper scrapping supplies. For digi scrapping, I scrap on the couch with my laptop!!!

Everywhere! Dining room, kitchen, bedroom, in front of the TV, on the train, in the library (when I should be studying), in a hotel, under a tree in the backyard. Maybe my layouts would be better if I stayed in one place....

I plug my laptop into an EHD that I keep in a corner of my bedroom every other day or so, and back everything up with Time Machine. I also have duplicates of almost everything on my desktop Mac Mini (which I use in my home office). Plus, I try to periodically back everything up on CDs.

I scrap on my laptop during my lunch break at work and then on the couch most days when I get home. We have a desktop with a huge monitor which is great, but it's far away from all the action in the house so I don't tend to use it very often.

I scrap mostly at the dining room table on my laptop, sometimes on the couch, my bed (although that is not all that comfortable for scrapping - just sleeping), and even in the car. Sometimes I have my LO finished except for pictures while travelling to an event. Pretty handy, this laptop!

When I'm at home, I scrap on my laptop at my desk in my office which used to be the bedroom of one of our sons. On the desk is my Canon printer, scanner copier combo and an Epson scanner for scanning slides. I have 3 bookcases filled with my books and scrapping mags. The closet has been converted to top to bottom shelving for my photo boxes and scrapbook albums.

When at the lake cabin, I scrap at the round oak table that used to be the game table when the boys were growing up.

You all are making me jealous of your laptops, lol. We have turned a small bedroom into a school room/office. I'm thankful for my little space.

We have an alcove off our front room that we've turned into a study. My computer, printer, scanner/etc are all in there. I scrap and do my stuff while my dd plays in the front room with her toys. the rooms are sort of connected with great visibility so I can see her & she can come talk to me and demand that I get off the computer all the time! We own a laptop but it's become my DH's laptop. I'm really more comfortable on the desktop b/c it's set up ergonomically. I really kind of hate working on a laptop!

Oh, now that I do digital I scrap all over the place... well when I have the time and school doesn't take over my life. I mostly scrap in my bedroom either at my desk or on my bed. I also like to scrap on the couch in the living room or family room. My laptop and ehd(I don't keep any files on my computers hard drive, so I store on one ehd and backup on another one) goes everywhere with me, so I end up scrapping in some pretty random places... in the car, hotels, at school, etc. I don't know what I would do without my laptop!

I scrap at an old table in my office. I spend so much time there that it has become the "family room" of sorts! Gold fish on the floor, my hubbies desk, boxes from my day job. Old paper supplies.

Not a space worthy of a picture

I mostly scrap on the kitchen table, where my laptop is open and ready to go most of the time. Sometimes I will bring it along to bed (which my DH is not very enthusiastic about...strangely enough... lol!) or I will chill out on the couch with the kids playing around. Gotta love scrapping on a laptop!!

We have a sunroom off our living room, and I have my desktop on a table in there, along with a printer, bookshelves, the kids' school crates (we homeschool), craft supplies, etc. I love that I face big windows!

We have an office space set up in one room, where everything related to digi scrapping lives. That way I can work on my stuff and still be ITsupport for my husband. We have no kids at home, so this is a great place for me to work while he watches Days of Our Lives :-)

I'm a scrap on the sofa gal. I don't take my laptop everywhere but I do take it on overnight trips as it is my go to when I have trouble sleeping.

We have an office off our familly room. It is a corner room and has 6' windows on both outside walls, so nice and bright during the day! I scrap at a huge desk that has my desktop, 24" monitor, scanner, and wide format printer. It also houses all my sewing and photography stuff. One time when my mom visited she said "ohhhh, this is the fun room" ... that it is!

laptop on the kitchen table, that's where most of the activities take place, so I am still with everybody!

I guess I kind of have a room, but just because it's at my main computer in my study. I don't like to scrap on my laptop -- I never feel that I have all the things I need on there.

We have a small desk between the kitchen and living rooms where my laptop, ehd's, printer, etc. are... its just the right size and convenient location. All my paper supplies are in bins in my closet, only pull them out for craft projects and card making these days. Although I would love a room devoted to crafts, sewing, etc.

I scrap similar to Anke. My computer is on the dining room table in the center of the house where all of the traffic flow and tv area is located.

I have my laptop on the dining room table...in the middle of the house, right in the midst of all the activities. I have my EHD attached and have wireless hookup to my printer, so I can print out draft copies of my LO's. (sometime's I can only see the typo's and problems in a hard copy!) I've tried scrapping in my recliner chair....but usually end up asleep!! It's so easy to pack up all my stuff when we need to use the table!!

That is the beauty of digi =) I usually am in my office on my desktop... but if I want to be in the family room with everybody else I can be. Or if I want to scrapbook at Star bucks with a friend I can... or like last night I was in my friends kitchen until 2am! It is so great not to lug all my supplies around.

My old "scrap" room has now been turned over to my kids as a craft area for them =) We are both pretty happy about it!!!

Always on my laptop.....

I have an office at home that looks outside and I love to scrap there......but I will roam around also, in my big fluffy chair, at the kitchen counter, outside on the deck, laying on the bed......

At our lake house I have a little corner desk that is just my little space. I can see outside, watch the geese and make sure the fish aren't bitting

I have scrapped in alot of places. The car, a van all the way to Florida, a semi truck, my porch swing and ONCE even on a beach in Cancun....I had a sudden burst of creativity
