Default 365 Project-Album

So all of you that are doing Project 365-how are you dividing your books up to print since you can't print the whole book into one book at Shutterfly? I was thinking of dividing mine into quarters, but that would mean I should have my first book done and sent to the printers and it reminds me how behind I am!! Most of my pages are double page spreads for the week with an occasional single page spread.

since I do all single pages, I should be okay with one book at the end of the year. Good idea to do quarters though

How many pages can a shutterfly book hold anyway? I have forgotten why I thought I needed to break mine up!

Shutterfly will bind 100 pages. The problem with breaking mine into 1/4s is you are paying such a high setup fee. The base price for an 8X8 is what, $29.99 + $1.00 each add'l page? If you print 26 or 27 pages, that's $38 (give or take) for the book, plus shipping. $38 X 4 = $160 (give or take).

Two 52-page books would be $29.99 + $32 each, or $64 (give or take). Twice that would be $128 (plus shipping). This is REALLY rough math.

So you come out ahead doing as few as you can, because you're knocking off the $29.99 setup fee.

For what it's worth!

Actually I forgot to build in the $10-$15 shipping for each book. So unless you wait for a free shipping promo, the shipping will hit you hard, too.

I am printing mine and putting them in a D-ring album. I have both double and single layouts but all should fit =)

Mine are single pages per week, so they will all fit in one book. Great math BTW Sarah!

Mine will fit into the book as one page = 1 week, with the odd special pages thrown in.

I started with two page spreads but have been doing single pages lately. For this week and next week, I will probably do two-pagers as I am going to my niece's graduation from law school and will have lots of extra photos I will want to include from her party and the graduation ceremony itself.
