Omigosh! I would SO LOVE to go - especially since San Antonio is less than 3 hours away! But of course, wouldn't you know it, the 7th is the last day of our last summer arts camp of which I'm in charge. I wouldn't be able to get off work early at all - probably not even by 6.
By the time I'd get there, it'd be more than half over. Wah.......

oh, wow! I totally want to go to one of these! I'll have to figure out which one makes more sense for travel from AZ...and hopefully there is nothing else going on that I need to do at that time! This is SO EXCITING!

Flight prices made the decision for me.. Thank you Air Tran for having a 2 day sale from ATL-SAT & for once actually having the deals on the days I wanted to go.
Katrina, sign me up for that photowalk... San Antonio it is. My model decided he wanted to tag along so this will be our August getaway.. he is good at carrying things too like camera equipment bags, tripods... teehee  grrr airlines & their blackouts... guess a diff trip with those before they expire...

This is such a wonderful idea. I would love to meet so many people in both locations. And the photowalks would top the weekend all off.
Unfortunately my vacation is scheduled to begin on the 8th. My birthday is also August the 8th. It would have been such a wonderful present to give to myself. Have a grand time. I'll be there in spirit!

My dad lives in Austin and Tom's dad is in Hondo, so San Antonio would have been perfect!!!!! Except for one thing. August 7th is our 15th wedding anniversary. What are the odds that I can talk Tom into flying to TX and letting me spend our anniversary with you guys?
