Question Reccomendation for a real beginner

I have seen some wonderful pages out there and am loving the look of the blended pages.

I have just purchased Cassie's blending tutorial, but am tossing up between the photobook from Anna and Katie.

Would either be easier to pick up?

I have only used the Made to Remember template (although I am sure that the FotoBlendz is equally as wonderful!)

Here is an example of a book I made with the Made to Remember templates...

It was easy to use and I loved the results!

In my opinion, I think you can't go wrong either way. You'll use the same techniques in each to clip your papers to the different masks in the templates.

Welcome to DD! Whichever way you go you'll have a beautiful book!

I have used both of those books and loved them both. They are very similar to use and made putting together books quick for me.

I did a book about my parents' trip to Iceland using Katie's Made to Remember.

And I did a book about beaches using Anna's Fotoblendz.

I don't think you could go wrong with either one and would pick up one just as easily as the other so would be more a decision of which mask looks you prefer to try out.

Cassie's tutorial about Getting Started with Templates can teach you to take any of the masks in these template albums and save them for use elsewhere as well. So you aren't just getting an album, you are getting a lot of masks to use on other pages in the future too.

Now, I am all motivated to use these templates sets after seeing Lisa's book again and visiting Heather's books for the first time. Thanks for sharing those links!

Robynne, you narrowed your choices down to two really lovely sets for a blended look. You are wise to learn from Cassie's tutorials, too. If you haven't already done so, now would be a good time to pick up Cassie's tutorial on using templates.
Getting Started With Templates. I think this tutorial would really help you get off to a good start using a template set like either Katie's or Anna's.

I don't have the one by Katie but anything by Katie is simply wonderful and fun to use. I do have the fotoblendz by Anna and I absolutely love it. I pull the fotoblendz masks out of it all the time to use on other pages or sometimes I just pick a whole page from it to use by itself. I did do a book using the fotoblendz but haven't posted it so can't link you to it. But really you couldn't go wrong with either one.

I think both are wonderful. You can actually search the gallery for examples. If you put the name of the product it will search through people's credits. I find that is a great way to decide because you can see what other's have done and see if that suits your style. Can't wait to see what you come up with =)

Thanks Ladies, I am off to make a decision - though with those wonderful samples- it will be hard to decide.

I have Cassie's tutorial on getting started with templates so now it's time to do something!

Thanks for your help :-)
