Red face Scrapbook pages for Mini Album?

Hi, all!

Need your advise... I've been most doing digital scrapbook pages (12x12) since 2007 and did a couple hybrid mini albums more for gifts. I usually print all my pages into a 12x12 paper then compile these into a big album.

Now, I want to create a mini album to show my twins' first year at a 'proper' nursery school.

My question is:
Would you first do the pages in 12x12 (print and compile to the big album) then make them into mini album size?

Or would you just keep 1 copy of the design by directly making them into i.e. an 8x8 size for a mini album?

I make all my pages 12X12... even the ones I print 8X8. You can always go smaller, but not bigger if you chose to in the future =)
