Default Do you ever scrap in your sleep?!

The other night I scrapped right up until bedtime (and stayed up too late), and then dreamed about making a page. I planned it all out in my sleep. I actually remembered it all the next day and couldn't wait scrap. But, It didn't turn out to be a masterpiece after all and ended up in the trash can. hehe

Anyone else have pages going around in your head at night?

Oh yes, I'm creating pages in my head all the time! When I'm sleeping, eating, driving, shopping, watching TV, cooking, cleaning. All the time!
Seriously, sometimes I have a hard time going to sleep because my head is full of ideas. This can't be healthy...

I think I've done that too... but I've found it helps me to fall asleep when I think about designing layouts. I'm always trying to come up with designs in my head and the next day I can't wait to scrap them!

Definitely, when I'm in the mood I'm thinking about scrapping all the time! Just wish the ideas in my head would translate to the page.

It usually happens to me when I wake up during the night and can't get back to sleep. Don't you wish the things you dream or envision at night could translate to the computer screen? The reality is always different from my vision.

After the last all day chat, I was seeing elements and paper and frames and EVERYTHING running through my head... if only it would come together easily

Yup I think about page ideas or combinations of papers & elements with certain photos right up until bedtime & beyond. There is no escaping a scrappers mind!

Yes, and not only thinking about it all the time, just when a conversation occurs I think "hey, I can scrap that" as well. Like my mind is continually focussed on it being the end result of, well, basically my life. LOL

I can't help thinking that, too.

So funny!

My kids have teased me before and said that the only reason I want to go and do things is so I can take pictures and scrap about it.

Definitely! And I've done the same thing - dreamed about a page and tried to scrap it. I often go to sleep dreaming about a story I'd like to tell or color combo I'd like to try, etc.

We are too funny!

I love when this happens! As soon as I wake up I sketch the ideas in my journal so won't forget them. Usually these layouts work out well for me. I came up with a Christmas present for my Mom using the "dream technique" (haha). I especially love it when I think of a perfect quotation or the journaling in my sleep, as I'm not so good at this when I'm awake.
