Coming out of Lurking
Hi guys. I'm new to this whole digi scrapping business. Just about 2 weeks in. I have paper scrapped for about 6.5 years, and was just losing the love. I thought I would give this digi thing a try and it seems as if my love for scrapping may have returned.
 I've been stalking the board and gallery and just wanted to say "hi". There are some seriously talented people on this site. Thanks for your inspiration. I'm also a big fan of the FAQ section.  I'm slowly figuring this stuff out. I recognize several people from my paper days. Hi girls! How are you?

Welcome to the wonderful world of digi scrapping! You already started out better than I did, you found DD fast.. it took me a couple of months of scrapping until I found it.
If you haven't found these yet, definitely check out Cassie's tutorials. She has a knack for making the confusing and frustrating make perfect sense and be easy as well as has great tips for showing you things you think you know but don't know all of the possibilities available. Her Getting Started with Templates and Selective Recoloring tutorials I found to be two of the most beneficial tutorials for the basics ever.   What you spend on the tutorials, you will more than make up for in all of the possibilities that digi opens up to you as well as learning how to look at products and see how it is so much more than what it appears to be on the surface. Again welcome! It's a wonderful world out here and glad to hear it has refound your love of scrapping for you.

WELCOME to the digi world ashley! I came from the paper world too and i dont think i could ever go back. The paper world was overwhelming for me... too much mess and fuss... i dont miss anything paper related. I am sure you found out how much faster it is and neater! anyway, welcome to dd. I felt the same way you did... paper scrapped for years and years and just didn't love it as much anymore. But I can tell you now that I'm addicted to digi! I really love it so I hope you do too! Welcome again!

Welcome, Ashley! It's great to have you here at DD, and I can't wait to see your pages. Especially since Steph has such glowing things to say about your work! lol (no pressure!)
I paper scrapped off and on for a long while before digi, and I just couldn't find a groove. Once I went digital, I got SO much more accomplished and really enjoy it now! Let us know if you have any questions. We're here to help!

I came from the paper world too =) I find I can get so much more done with digi. I can leave a project and come back to it and not have a giant mess in my office! I also love that everything is at the tip of my fingers if I need something at 11pm to complete a page I can get it =)

Hi Ashley! Welcome to DD! I too was a paper scrapper (for about 10 years) until I found DD and digiscrapping. I absolutely love it and probably will not go back to paper. Now I just have to figure out what to do with the room (I kid you not - an entire bedroom) full of paper scrapping supplies!

Welcome! I am fairly new to digital scrapbooking too but have gotten so much done in the last several months compared to my progress with paper layouts! My goal for this year is to get caught up and with digital I just might have a chance! :-)
