Trouble with DVD player
So I just got CS4 in the mail, I am so happy, go to install and my stupid DVD player isn't working. It worked before but now I get this message
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) Does anybody have any idea what I am supposed to do? I tried restarting, but that didn't solve it. That's where my technological expertise ends.

Don't know enough about dvds to try to help on that front, however, I do have a suggestion for getting your CS4 installed.
You should be able to go to Adobe's site, download and install the CS4 trial (believe it is the full program) and then just enter your serial number which came in your box and you should be up and running. Otherwise, contact Adobe's support and ask them. I bought the online upgrade so you can do it all without a dvd player. Good luck!

that's a great idea heather, thanks so much. At least short term that will help with this part of the problem. Now to get this thing fixed....
