Default How do you pronounce Pertiet?

I've been wondering if Pertiet is pronounced in the French way: Perty-ay or perhaps with the t-sounded Perty-ette. But Jessica Sprague pronounced it as Per-teet in her lesson today. Now I'm really curious to know: how does one say it correctly?

I believe it is Per-teet
I could be wrong... but I think Randy told us before.

Yes, and it's German not French.

I didn't know either! I assumed it was French and had been pronouncing it that way. Thanks for the correction!

I kind of figured it was Purteet but I had no idea it was german. Sure doesn't sound it Missy, Anke is pronounced Unka (sort of), but I answer to pretty much anything

Thanks Anke! I have been saying it wrong for so long. Ha ha. I bet that gets old having everyone butcher it.

This is funny; I didn't know how to pronounce "Pertiet" or "Anke". I took Jessica's class and so learned that way too, and I had to ask Anke directly! Now I think I'm straight. Just a quirky thing about meeting people on the Internet I guess!

Oops! All this time, I've been mispronouncing your name Anke... sorry!

Can we please add Aino to the list?
