Need A DD Handbook

So last week I discovered that Cassie does tutorials and then I noticed a lot of layouts saying this was for the Chat. I am so confused

I completely get the journal, color, and everday challenges and I just recently discovered the blog. However what other goodies am I missing? How do I partake in the chats? And how often are there challenges on the blog?

Sorry if the info is right in front of myself, I have looked but still I am confused. Thanks for any help.

Hi! I do host a "How'd They Do That?" chat every month or so, and in it I provide the tutorial that ultimately ends up in the store. There are plenty of chats to attend and there are freebies given out at each. There is a Chat Schedule with all the chats and you can subscribe for email reminders to them. Just click on Chat Room at the top of the page for more info.

Every weekend, there are three challenges (journaling, color, and everyday inspiration) posted in the Challenges Gallery. There are no real rules to those challenges other than to use the product in the freebie and then to post your page in the appropriate gallery for that challenge.

Any other contests on the site will have threads in the Contests & Events section in the Forum that explain the details in full. Currently, there is a Guest CT contest going on (actually, it ended and is in the voting stage now), and we just completed the Capture the Love contest. The Guest CT contest will run every other month.

In addition, there are regular entries to the blog that provide inspiration and challenges. The rules for those are described on the blog. There are no prizes, just a chance to be motivated and inspired to create great pages.

Sometimes, during a chat, the hostess will offer a prize for a layout, selected either by the hostess or randomly.

Once a month, the site owners select a scrapper to be the Featured Artist of the Month, and that person wins a $20 gift certificate to the store and a place on the home page.

In addition, there is a Layout of the Week selected by Katie and announced in the Toot Toot section of the forum. This layout wins the designer a $5 gift certificate.

Finally, team member Deena hosts the Simply Inspired challenge every other week. She posts on the blog and in the Contests & Events Forum. The winner of this contest gets a $10 gift certificate.

All of these contests are subject to change at any time.

There are no points earned toward gift certificates on the site.
