Default Photoshop Tip of the Week thank-you!

I love receiving DD's Sunday morning email. It's always packed with goodies, inspiration and sound advice. I particularly enjoyed this weeks tip on scanners. Though I could have used this advice last year (my niece's graduation DVD), the timing couldn't be more perfect. I have acquired 200+ photos this week, so I can make another DVD slideshow this summer. My nephew is getting married and I've been asked to do a slideshow to be shown at rehearsel dinner and the wedding. I can't wait to put this tip to very good use. Thanking you in advance!

Thank you for drawing my attention to this! This is really going to help me with my backlog of old family photos!

Since I am in school now, I have no time and thought of giving up and simply spending the money to send everything to Scan Cafe or some such service. In the past I sent some photos, and they did an OK job with them, but I think I do a better job.

But if I can scan 6 photos at a pass, I have hope of someday being able to get through my backlog!

And on CBS this morning, there was a story about how we have to continually migrate our digital info to new formats every few (they suggested ten) years. So once I scan everything, I guess I can start "migrating"-- oh, joy!

If you are on AOL, they are now blocking us as spam. If you have another email address like Gmail or Yahoo then send me that through the contact us an I'll add that to the newsletter.

BTW you can see all the tips of the week in our knowledgebase.

The newsletters all go out on Saturday evening (about 6:30pm EST). For late delivery like that you will need to talk to your ISP (internet service provide).

How do you get to the knowledgebase from the home page? It's really good to know you can access the tips.

I did receive an email yesterday with that title but I know it didn't have the scanning tips included. Was it an attachment maybe? Mine just had the 2 25 cent items listed etc, but no tips. I am so glad you have a list of them, they are so valuable!

If you are on AOL and aren't getting the newsletter, add this address to your address book:

designerdigitals@designer-digitals.com

AOL won't see it as spam if it's in your address book.
