Default Shutterfly problem--my layouts are cropped!

I have some pages uploaded to a Shutterfly album. I wanted to turn off Vivid Pics. At the top of the album, there are tabs saying "Organize", "Edit", and "Play Slideshow".

When I click on "Edit", there are several choices: edit picture info, crop picture, apply border, apply effect, fix red eye. When I click on one of these, my layout is automatically cropped to 4x6! The only way I can get it back to 12x12 is to go to "apply effect" and choose "revert to original" and ""apply this effect to selected pictures".

If I go to "crop picture", the "easy crop" button is highlighted, but I don't see an option for "no crop".

Sorry this is so complicated, but I am really stuck.

You can choose "Custom Crop" and then None is an option.

Amy you are almost there. The one you want is "free crop". You click Easy Crop Tool and then Free Crop. You'll have to do it for each picture though. They told me they don't have it set up for apply to all yet. :O)

Thanks Kelly, that worked. But the Custom Crop option says the picture will have padding around it. Hopefully that doesn't mean the finished product has a white border?

Amy, Kelly's right. Use that Custom Crop setting on either "Free" or "Square" and it will work. Promise.

I think by "padding" they mean that you need to keep to the rule of "nothing important in the outer 1/8"-1/4" of the page. I just make sure my paper covers edge to edge, but any border design, text, etc. doesn't extend past those boundaries.
