Sad news (kinda sorta digitally SBR)
This post might be more NSBR, so I apologize in advance if this is the wrong place.
 I haven't posted many layouts lately, but quite a few of the ones in my gallery (especially the early ones) feature my cat, Tigger (also known as Best Kitty Ever!). He was my cat from my freshman year of high school until I went out of state to college, and then he kind of became my mom's cat. Very spoiled, and very loved. By my best guess, Tigger would have been 22 this spring. His health had been failing lately, and Friday morning my parents made the decision to have him put to sleep. I know it was the right thing to do, but I didn't get to say goodbye or see him one last time. I've been crying off and on all day, and I'm just about done in. I'm sorry to be such a downer, but you guys have "seen" Tigger and commented on many of the layouts I've done featuring him, so I thought I would post the news here. Thanks for letting me get this out.

Ahhhhh... so sorry to hear that. (((HUGS))) to you. The loss of the pet is hard even if it was his time.

I'm so sorry for you!! I know have hard it is to lose a pet. It's a good thing you've made those beautiful pages about him! They may be hard to look at now, but in time you will treasure them!

I'm so sorry! Sending hugs your way. It is very hard to lose a pet. Treasure those beautiful pages you made. I saw a quote by Dr. Seuss that helps me when I am sad about losing my dog... "Don't cry because it's over...Smile because it happened." I hope that you will find comfort in remembering all of the wonderful things about Tigger.

That's so sad, Kelly! You'll carry the memories of Tigger in your heart.
I like Heather's idea of the {tackle hug} for times like this. Also, Lisa's Dr. Seuss quote is one I'll try to remember, too.

Oh, Kelly. I'm so sorry. I remember him from your layouts and I know how much he meant to you. The not getting to say goodbye is very tough. I'm so sorry that it happened this way. Hope things get brighter for you soon. Hugs

I am so sorry to hear that, it is always sad when we lose a pet! At least he got to live to a (really) ripe old age, but I know that is no consolation. Big hugs to you!!!!

Oh how sad for you..loosing a pet is always difficult (for me). When you don't get to have that last goodbye it really can be. Hugs. What a long life he had! Aren't you glad you have all those wonderful layouts?
