I've been wanting to for sooooooooooo long, but it took me awhile to finally decide to get over it (fear of the learning curve and just plain lack of time) and just get started somewhere.

Ok, now for the Year In Review stuff:

The idea of the photo book is what finally tipped me over the edge to get into digi and I think I'd really like to use Katie's '08 Year In Review templates and make a book.

Questions:

Is there anywhere I can see each template closer up?

Anyone have any advice for the templates and/or making a book? (I'm a photo book virgin too).

and:

Anyone who's done any pages using these templates... PLEASE link me to them. I'm sure I will love them and I'm ready to praise too.

Hi, Kathleen! Welcome to DD. I love your first pages. You did a wonderful job with them!

Katie's YIR templates are an excellent way to gather all those photos into one album.

One of our team members, Christina, just recently posted a link to her Shutterfly album made from those templates.

Hi Kathleen,
I'm a newbie too and just wanted to say HI from Northern CA (i see you're in Roseville!)
Love your pages so far- wish I could help with the photobook questions, but I haven't done one yet. There are a ton of threads discussing them tho-lotsa good info. I spent most of January "watching" and learning and have only taken the plunge this week with pages and uploads. This place is awesome!!

congrats on your first digi pages...they are BEAUTIFUL! Welcome to the site - it's fun to "hang out" here...there is so much inspiration in the gallery, and so many nice people. I haven't used the templates but there are tons of people here who have, so I'm sure you'll get some answers!

I must second what someone else already said about Cassie's tutorials . . . they really cover so much and are extremely well written. Come to some of the chats too ... lots of fun and help there too.
